  The Nashville2600

The Nashville 2600's Mission Statement reads:
"To act as a support group to the Middle Tennessee community of intellectually curious persons without regard to race, gender, age, economic status or sexual preference."

The Nashville 2600 group has been around since the 1990s, and became a formal Tennessee nonprofit organization in 2004, with a goal of educating the public on various aspects of cyberculture and technical literacy. Support for the nonprofit has come from both personal networking at monthly meetings, and a formal educational conference held each year, usually in October or November, known as PhreakNIC. Before the formation of the nonprofit, PhreakNIC, founded in 1997, was run by volunteer members of the se2600 community. Today it is the primary project of the Nashville 2600 organization.`

  Nashville Linux Users Group

The purpose of the Nashville Linux Users Group (NLUG) is the promotion of, and contribution to, the computer operating system commonly known as Linux, both within the organization and to the persons of the city of Nashville and surrounding area.

Platinum package:

  • Your company name and logo will be presented on the highest tier of the PhreakNIC website as well as on signage and handouts given to attendees.
  • You will be mentioned and thanked in the opening and closing ceremonies.
  • You can provide fliers to be included in handouts as marketing materials, as well as swag with your company logo to be included in guest bags.
  • You will be able to include a full-page print ad in our program booklet and in our mobile apps.
  • You may have a table in the vendor area, in the location of your choice.
  • You may also set up an information table in the main concourse, next to registration.
  • You will receive ten (10) complimentary sponsor badges.
  • Cost: $5,000.00

Gold package:

  • Your company name and logo will be presented on the PhreakNIC website as well as on signage and handouts given to attendees.
  • You will have a table in the vendor area; gold sponsors may select any location not already reserved by a platinum sponsor or other gold sponsor.
  • You will receive up to five (5) complimentary sponsor badges.
  • Cost: $2,500.00

Silver package:

  • Your company name and logo will be presented on the PhreakNIC website as well as on handouts given to attendees.
  • You will have a table in the vendor area.
  • You will receive two (2) complimentary sponsor badges.
  • Cost: $1,000.00

Copper package:

  • Your company name and logo will be presented on the PhreakNIC website as well as on handouts given to attendees.
  • You will receive one (1) complimentary sponsor badge.
  • Cost: $500.00

Note that sponsors may request packages tied to specific PhreakNIC needs, i.e.:

  •  $500+ - tshirts
  •  $500+ - custom badges
  •  $500+ - program booklets
  •  $500+ - con suite
  •  $500+ - stickers, hats, shot glasses, playing cards, other swag
  •  $500+ - sponsor a guest, with their permission (area and/or transportation costs)
  • $1000+ - Thursday pre-con buffet
  • $1000+ - Sunday post-con dinner

"Package" sponsors receive the equivalent Copper/Silver/Gold/Platinum benefits, plus a banner and/or printed info (whichever is most appropriate) on materials related to the specific item(s) they have sponsored. Note also that if a sponsor buys, for example, badges at $1000 or $2500, we splurge on that item.
