Information

PhreakNIC is a convention held yearly in Nashville, TN, usually during the month of October. This year, it will be the weekend of October 21-23, 2005, from approximately 10 AM Friday until 1 PM Sunday. Sunday is generally a wrap-up day, so please do not expect talks or events to be scheduled on Sunday.

The convention has plenty to do: expert panels, presentations, gaming, events, contests and a large costume party on Saturday night. It is an excellent opportunity to commune with other like-minded technology enthusiasts, otherwise known as hackers. It's also a great chance to show off your latest modifications and make new friends in the community.

PhreakNIC 9 Admission Fees

Admission fees are $20, regardless of when you arrive. Arrive early, and if you're one of the first 300 entrants you get a neato take home gift!

Volunteering at the Convention

Volunteers get a free t-shirt after working their shifts. To sign up online to volunteer, click here.

Lissa says: I will need a few volunteers to help with gaming after 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. I will have a volunteer sign up sheet at registration on Friday and Saturday.
